There are many ways you can clean a clogged colon. One important thing, not only to the colon cleansing, but for lots of other reasons, is having a healthy and balanced diet. Poor feeding, fast food eating, too many snacks instead of a good meal, can lead not only to a colon filled with toxins, but to an unhealthy stomach, liver failure, kidney stones or gallstones, insulinomas, and so on. Therefor, is it essential to eat right!
We will discuss about how to have a balanced diet to clean your colon, but this will also clean other organs too, because it is based on eating fresh organically grown vegetables and fruits, and plenty of water! Also, we will see what we need to avoid to stop toxins from clogging the colon.
You will have to include in the colon cleansing diet the following: fibre, fermented foods, green foods, and water! Also, adding a cleansing supplement to your diet would be recommended.
Fibre: There are two types of fibre that will need to be present in the cleansing diet, soluble and insoluble fibre. The main difference between the two is that soluble fibre will dissolve in water, while insoluble fibre will not. Eating both will have a laxative effect, so if you suffer from constipation, this will no longer be a problem! Soluble fibre can be found in rice, peas, barley, lentils, beans, citrus, strawberry and apples, while insoluble fibre can be eaten from whole wheat, cabbage, rye, carrots, brown rice, barley, beets, brussels sprouts, turnips and cauliflower.
Lacto-fermented Foods: Yogurt, miso and kefir are the best source for friendly bacteria that are numerous in colon, which will support our digestive system.
Green Foods: Chlorophyll that is found in the green foods is ideal for colon cleansing, therefor barley grass, spirulina, broccoli, spinach, or wheatgrass, will be excellent for this colon cleansing diet. On top of that, chlorophyll also heals the damaged tissue from the digestive tract, gets more oxygen into our body, eliminating more toxins.
Plenty of Water: A person needs to drink 2 liters of water everyday for normal function of internal organs, and if you want to start a diet that will clean your colon, you will need to increase that amount. If you do not drink enough water the intestine will not be able to dry the feces and this will lead to hard stools. So, lots and lots of water will help cleaning the colon and also a better and health organism.
Remember, you cannot live a healthy life if your colon is not clean. A colon cleaning diet needs to be carried out during a longer period of time, and if this does not help then you should add colon cleansers.
This is not just about choosing free range eggs instead caged eggs. It involves more than that! Cut down those fats and carbohydrates! A healthy diet would include a variety of nutritious foods like pastas, breads, fruits and vegetables.
It is also important to try and maintain a healthy weight. The more weight you gain, the bigger your colon will be and the more chances of failure or clogging. And this would be just one of the problems, on top of others that can occur.
The changes in your diet should be made gradually, you cannot change everything overnight. There is no miracle food that will do it for you. Also, you should not eliminate certain foods from your diet just because they are bad. Try in reduce them as much as possible. If you cannot commit to a diet on your own, a nutritionist can help you.
